# Sales

Sales lives in the same workspace as everything else — customers, deals, contacts as entities that link to tickets, issues, documents, and sessions.

## Entities

- **Customers** — `GET/POST /workspaces/{org}/customers` — company records with statuses, needs, attachments, comments
- **Deals** — `…/deals` — opportunities with amounts, stages, comments
- **Contacts** — `…/contacts` — people, linked to customers and deals

```bash
# New deal on a customer
pile request POST "/workspaces/{org}/deals" \
  -d '{"title":"Acme expansion","customerId":"<customer-uuid>","amount":50000}'
# Link the field-sales playbook doc to the deal
pile request POST "/workspaces/{org}/entities/document/{doc}/links" \
  -d '{"toType":"deal","toId":"<deal-uuid>"}'
```

## How it connects

- A customer's support history is visible by linking their contacts to tickets.
- Call transcripts and field notes live as documents linked to the customer and deal — same durable-notes convention as agent sessions.
- Strategy docs (playbooks, pricing) link to the Sales project and the deals they govern.
