# Projects

A project groups issues and documents around a body of work — a launch, a quarter's focus, or an ongoing stream like "Sales" or "Marketing".

## Shape

- `GET/POST /workspaces/{org}/projects` — create with `teamId` optional (a project can live on a team or on the workspace itself).
- **Milestones** — `…/projects/{id}/milestones` — dated checkpoints.
- **Members** — `…/projects/{id}/members` — who's on it.
- **Updates** — `…/projects/{id}/updates` — written status updates over time.
- **Comments** — `…/projects/{id}/comments` — same comment surface as every entity.
- **Reminder** — `…/projects/{id}/reminder` — scheduled status nudge.

## Initiatives and roadmaps

Above projects: **initiatives** (`/initiatives`) group several projects under a strategic theme, and **roadmaps** (`/roadmaps`) lay them out over time.

## Teams vs projects

Teams own issue identifiers and engineering states; projects own a body of work. Marketing and Sales are projects inside the workspace — they don't need teams because they don't produce `KEY-NN` issues. Engineering work that supports them files issues under the engineering team and links the project.
